Why register?
 

After registration, employer can use all the available functions in our website. They include:

(a) Select candidates;
(b) Fill Vacancy Order Form online without having to fill in company details collected during registration e.g. company name and address, etc.Top

How much does it cost to register?
 

All services provided at our website are free of charge.Top

How to register?
 

You can click "Candidates" – "Register Now" at "Home". Fill in the registration form and click the "Submit" button.Top


4.
How to select my "Login Name" and "Password"?
 

You can select "Login Name" and "Password" of your own choice. Top


5.
Can "Login Name" be changed?
 

Sorry. "Login Name" cannot be changed.Top


6.
Can "Password" be changed?
 

Yes. "Password" can be changed by selecting "Update Profile" after login.Top


7.
What can I do if I forget "Password"?
 

If you have filled in the "Employer Registration" form to become our registered employer but forget "Password", please click "Candidates" – "User Logon" and then click "Employer Forget Password". Input your "Login Name". The system will send "Login Name" and "Password" to the registered email address.Top


8.
What can I do if I forget both "Login Name" and "Password"?
 

If you have filled in the "Employer Registration" form to become our registered employer but forget both "Login Name" and "Password", please send the followings:
1. Company name
2. Business Registration Certificate Number
3. Telephone number
4. Fax number
to our email address esadmin@labour.gov.hk. Please state your enquiry for "Login Name" and "Password" in the email and we will inform you after verification.

If you had previously filled in the "Vacancy Order Form" only, you will not become our registered employer automatically.Top


9.
How to update the registration record?
 

Registered employers please select "Update Profile" after login. Click "Update" button after updating.Top

How to post vacancy?
 

Both registered employer and employer not yet registered can post vacancy through our website. The company information including company name and address will be downloaded to the Vacancy Order Form automatically when registered employer login our website. Employers not yet registered please click "Candidates"–"Post a Vacancy" to submit the form.

After submitting the form, the screen displays a 6-digit reference number (e.g. 012345). When your job vacancy is accepted and processed, a Job Order No. (e.g. 11-10-0099999) would be generated by Job Vacancy Processing Centre. If you have any questions, please contact Job Vacancy Processing Centre at 2503 3377. Top

How to link up vacancy?
 

"Link up Vacancy" is only available to registered employer with vacancy posted. Registered employer can then select candidates or amend/cancel the vacancy.

You can choose "Link up Vacancy " after login. Enter your Job Order No. (e.g. 11-10-0099999) and BRN (Business Registration Number, e.g. 12345678). Click "Link" and then click "Main Page" after successful link up. If you do not have BRN, enter Job Order No. and click "Link". We will contact you later after verification.Top

How to amend/cancel vacancy?
 

Registered employer can use "Amend/Cancel Vacancy" to make the request. Click "Link up Vacancy" to link up your registration record with vacancy posted after login. Then click "Amend/Cancel Vacancy" and choose your desired Job Order No.. Enter amendment details or choose to cancel the vacancy afterwards. The Job Vacancy Processing Centre will then follow up your request.

If you have not yet registered or you want to amend/cancel vacancy immediately, please contact Job Vacancy Processing Centre at 2503 3377.Top

How to search suitable candidates?
 

("Select Candidates" function is available to "General Employers" only)

You can click "Candidates" at "Home" and choose "Select Candidates". Registered employer please login; employer not yet registered should first register before selecting candidates.

- If you have posted the vacancy and knew the Job Order Number, please click "Link up Vacancy" to link it with your registration. Then click "Select Candidates" to search for candidates.

- If you have not posted vacancy yet, you can also search for the candidates through "Select Candidates", then fill in and submit Vacancy Order Form.

While searching for the candidates, you only need to enter search criteria, e.g. education level, skill and relevant experience, etc. in the search form. Candidates matching your search criteria will be displayed. After the selection of desired candidates, we will inform the candidates about the vacancy information and invite them to contact you directly.Top

How to narrow the search result while searching for candidates?
 


You can click "Back to Selected Criteria" button on the result page to tighten the search criteria.Top

What should I do if there is no candidate meeting the search criteria while searching for candidates?
 


You can click "Back to Selected Criteria" button on the result page to relax the search criteria.Top


16.
Can I sort the result of "Select Candidates" while searching for candidates?
 


Yes. You may sort the search result by salary, relevant experience or education level. You can define the sorting criteria when you fill in the search form or at the "Search Result" page.Top
